A hidden paradise.A scenery like a fairytale with flowerful yards, century-old olive trees, classical architecture, two millions cats, an impressive church, the biggest folklore museum in Cyclades and 30 habitants who look forward to welcoming you, sharing their stories and asking you " What are you doing here and where are you coming from?"
The Experience
As you can understand, we welcome you to my village, at our home where my parents grew up. Get ready to have a feast! During a 4 hours hands-on experience, we will cook a full traditional Naxian meal based on recipes that have been passed from generation to generation. Preparing our meal, we will prove to you why the Mediterranean diet is the epitome of healthy nutrition and Greece the best ambassador of hospitality. So, welcome to your Greek home!
Itinerary
Meeting them in front of the church, welcome drink at home, cooking for apprx 2 hours, free time to stroll around the village or to visit the Olive Oil press Museum (no fee) or the Folklore museum (extra fee), dinner/lunch - Hands on experience-
The menu includes also cheese tasting, salad, dessert, alcohol and refreshments.
Extra Info
- Our home has some stairs, difficult to welcome people with heavy disabilities.
- If our guests have their own car, the meeting point is Vioma Naxos, Kaloxylos at 10.30am or 4pm.
- Pick up --> Lunch: 10:00 / Dinner: 15:30
